With all my respect for the inventor of this kind of puzzle, I don't find it particularly interesting neither from a poetical nor from a mathematical point of view.

so does this mean you don't care for, say, haiku or sestina or any of the myriad other strict poetic forms?

as you've seen, i tend to write in free verse, but i do have a certain affection for more formal frameworks. vilanelle, in particular, is a form i used to write in often. art is all about operating within constraints. and while the constraints are either incidental or arbitrary, they nevertheless inform the enterprise.

The link with mathematics seems to me to be a pretext for an innovation which doesn't add anything to poetry - just another intellectual exercise.
Of course people have the right to spend their time as they like.

Not a Fib

Moon
lost
too soon
over 'bars--
Tightly grip the swoon;
peddle high hills,conquering blues.
